Eindelijk een thuis

Sinds deze week is het huis volledig leeg van de spullen van de vorige eigenaresse. Zo begint het steeds wat meer als ‘ons thuis’ aan te voelen. Al lijkt het soms nog wel een droom. Omringt door de stilte en de prachtige natuur. Het enige wat je hoort zijn de verschillende vogels die een thuis hebben in onze bomen en de vlinders en bijen die snoepen van de bloemen. We genieten volop!

Begin deze week werden we gebeld door onze Franse vriend ‘Matthieu’ hij is makelaar en heeft zijn huis zelf gebouwd van stro en klei op een hele ecologische en natuurvriendelijke manier. Hij vroeg ons: “Do you want some good quality horse shit”. Dus daar gingen we met onze aanhanger om deze vol te laden bij de op een paar minuten van ons vandaan paardenranch. Daarna hadden we met Matthieu afgesproken om iets te drinken bij de ‘Belaye bar’ een leuke bar met prachtig uitzicht en typische jeux de boules banen. Met een volle kar paardenmest voor onze moestuin en stinkende kleren rijden we tevreden weer naar huis. Toch fijn iemand te hebben die de goede plekjes weet te vinden!

De zon begint al flink te schijnen dus we vonden het een goed idee om het zwembad (die behoorlijk groen was) schoon te gaan maken voor wat verkoeling. Na de oude overkapping eraf gehaald te hebben en de pomp hebben laten draaien begint het al ergens op te lijken! Ik denk dat we straks even ons eerste plonsje gaan wagen!
